About ME

What’s up?! It took a long time for me to figure out what I wanted to write about. I’m kind of a Jack of All Trades, being good at a lot of things but not great at any. I never really had a passion and never became a “professional” at anything. But I could only think of one hobby that I’m actually good at.

I joined the Army in 1997 and served for 10 years, with several deployments including Macedonia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Iraq, Iraq again, and you get the point. I got out in 2007 and worked at a Security Installation Company for short time until I joined a Police Department in Texas. I worked there until 2017 when I decided to head back overseas (yes… Iraq again) for a Security Company.

I’ve pretty much been into fitness since I joined the Army and have tried just about every diet and workout plan since.

I really got into working out during my time at the Police Department. I had one of those moments where I realized that I was horribly out of shape, worse than I had ever been. I let myself go a little bit and I’ll just flat out say I was FAT. I did not like how I looked and if I didn’t change things immediately it was just going to be worse later on. I had joined the PD at around 210 pounds and a few years later I was sitting at over 240. Ok, fine I let myself go alot.

So I started a fitness routine that involved a lot of Crossfit type workouts in my garage, and I would lift heavy weights at the Police Department gym. After my career change, I started working out even harder since I had a little more time, while also trying different routines and diets. To make a long story short, about 1 year after leaving the Police Department I was down to a cool 218 pounds and had put on a lot more muscle than I ever had.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, I hope that my blog will inspire you to get moving and reach your full potential. And hopefully I will have the opportunity to learn alot from others.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and my work. I look forward to connecting with everyone and continuing to share my advice and ideas in the fitness industry.
